This 75 minute class is all about slowing down and relaxing, we start with tension releasing stretches and move into more passive held restorative poses using props for maximum support. It's a candle lit class and closes with a long relaxation and healing soundbath.

Hatha unifies asanas (postures), pranayama (breath control) and dyana (meditation) to encourage a healthy body and a clear and peaceful mind. This class encourages you to slow down your body, mind, and breath to remove you from external stresses of life and focus on the present.

Gentle Hatha Yoga

Gentle Yoga
This class is one of our most gentle movement practices on offer at the studio. An exclusively floor-based class, Gentle Yoga uses the principles of Hatha yoga to combine meditation, breathwork and yoga asanas (postures), supporting joint mobility, flexibility and overall wellbeing.

Chair Yoga
This free chair yoga is an effective, gentle and accessible form of yoga. You’ll be introduced to breathing and relaxation techniques as well as physical exercises. Everyone is encouraged to work at the level and pace appropriate for them as an individual, with the aim of reducing tension, aches and pains, and increasing physical and mental wellbeing.

Stretch & Release
Stretch & Release is designed to deeply stretch and mobilise the muscles and joints that we use everyday, using foam rollers, balls, and yoga postures to get deep into the body's fascia (this is the connective tissues that support all of our organs, bones, and muscles). This class is suitable for anyone looking to release tension and work on their flexibility. It is particularly popular with people who do sports such as walking, running, cycling, and swimming.

Connect mind and body and exploring fun and gentle movements at a Community Yoga class. This brand new class is guided by a different teacher every week, making Community Yoga a great way to explore different styles of yoga, and to get to know our wonderful teachers at the Highland Yoga Collective and connect with your community. Every class is welcoming and adaptable to all abilities.

Slow Flow
In this class we focus on flowing movement to encourage more body awareness and physical mobility, as well as breathwork and meditation. This class offers an inclusive, laid back and fun atmosphere that is perfect for complete newcomers to the practice, and will give you the tools to create and sustain a space for relaxation and serenity.

Yin Yoga
Yin yoga is a quiet, contemplative, mostly floor-based practice, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body. A Yin Yoga class is made up of a sequence of longer-held poses that work deeply in to the body’s connective tissues, ligaments, joints, and the deep fascia network.

Morning Flow
This energising morning flow is the perfect way to start your day. Each class will begin with deep, Yin-style stretching, moving into fun, flowing sequences to energise the body and the mind. The class finishes with a short seated or standing relaxation to ensure you're ready for the day ahead.

Yogalates
Yogalates is a fusion of Yoga & Pilates. Each class will begin with mobility exercises, followed by a sequence of flowing dynamic movements to improve your balance, strength, and flexibility. The class will finish with gentle stretching, deep relaxation, and meditation. This class is the perfect way to explore both practices of yoga and Pilates, particularly if you are new to either discipline.

Vinyasa Flow
Join Yola for this brand new Vinyasa class, focussing on transitioning between asanas (positions) and creating flowing movement. A more energising class than Slow Flow, Vinyasa Flow explores a broader range of asanas, gently building strength and flexibility.

Fiery Classes

Yang to Yin
An energising and flowing class, Yang to Yin begins with a gentle warm up, followed by a fiery Vinyasa sequence to build 'Yang' energy in the body. This is then followed by a series of slower, deeper Yin-style stretches to return to our calming 'Yin' energy. The class ends with a deep relaxation to ensure you're ready for the evening.

Hot Vinyasa Flow
Expect a flowing style of class that encourages movement in a non habitual way. The class is combined with heat to release tension and create space. The class opens with releasing stretches and breath work, followed by a multi level flow before winding down to a deep relaxation at the end. Each class is unique as the sequence and techniques evolve and adapt.

Power Yoga
This is a relatively strenuous yoga class which will get your inner fire burning. It is a modified Ashtanga-style class where some aspects are the same each time (for example the sun salutations as warm-up) but there are also variations on poses class to class. It is fast-paced, and focuses on strength, stamina, and flexibility. It is great for yogis who want to push themselves and runners, cyclists, climbers or other athletes who want to balance their practice.

Intro to Pilates
(4 week course)
Kickstart January with Claire for this introduction to Pilates. One block features 4 consecutive classes, ideal for anyone who is new or returning to the practice, or anyone transitioning from Yogalates. Suitable for all abilities, with adaptations offered throughout. Starting 15th Jan 2026.
