200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training

Join us in 2026

In many yoga journeys there comes a point when the desire to go deeper arises, whether to share the practice with others or to connect more fully with its roots and teachings. Our 200-hour certified training course in the Highlands of Scotland is designed to support that next step. Join lead trainers Laura Rice, Laura Ross, and Julia Clarke, along with special guest teachers, for an inspired and empowering approach to teaching yoga that is both historically grounded and relevant in a modern context. This foundational training begins at the roots of yoga and progresses intelligently to help you understand both the subtle dynamics and physical expressions behind every posture and class you experience and teach.

Find out all you need to know below, or join us at our free information session open day on Saturday 25th october 2025, 2pm - 3:30pm.

Why train with us?

More than just a cookie-cutter approach to scripted teaching, this training invites you to understand the deeper dynamics of yoga in a relevant and accessible way. We’ll consider your personal areas of interests, give you tools to evolve your relationship with your own practice and ultimately prepare you to craft thoughtful classes that embody your unique voice and personal passions.

What can I expect from this training?

This training is held at our studio in Nairn one weekend a month for eight months. One of these weekends will be held online, and there is a summer break in July. Each day will entail a mix of lecture and discussion, guided practice and interactive learning activities to help you integrate the knowledge.

In addition to our in-person hours, there will be regular homework assignments and assigned reading to both promote your journey and fulfil the minimum of 200 hours required by Yoga Alliance for a foundational training.
