Service Description
This 75 minute Unwind + Restore class is designed to support you in deeply unwinding tension and stress within the mind and body so you can relax and restore your whole system. Support yourself through a gentle restorative practice to promote calm. This predominantly floor based practice works with the connective tissues of the body (fascia) to hydrate and lengthen the tissues that support all of our organs, bones and muscles. We will also work with breathwork to support and strengthen our respiratory system and the release of deep stress. Through working with the fascia system we support our bodies in : Tension and stress relief Deep rest and sleep Injury prevention Being able to move with more ease Release of stored emotions and stagnant energy Bringing balance back to the whole system Creating strength and resilience within the physical, emotional, energetic and mental bodies This session will end with some restorative poses and a long savasana (rest) with yoga nidra and/or sound bath to support you in receiving the deep restorative rest our bodies need to stay in balance and harmony. We will weave yogic teachings into the classes to support you in deepening your practice and self awareness. These sessions will be themed alongside the seasons, the moon cycles and nature. Suitable and accessible for all.
