Retreats

Throughout the year, we run mini, whole-day, and multiple-day retreats taking place either in our studio in Nairn, or in exclusive venues throughout the Highlands.

Retreats are generally guided by the season, leaning into traditional Celtic celebrations like Imbolc and Samhain, as well as lunar cycles like Solstice and Equinox.

Winter Day Retreat

Altyre Estate, 1 February 2026

Set within the idyllic Altyre Estate, surrounded by ancient woodland, this experience was designed to calm the mind and nourish the body - a time to replenish immune strength, restore gut harmony, and gather vital energy.

Aligned with the Celtic festival of Imbolc and the Snow Moon, as the first light of spring stirs beneath the soil, this retreat offered deep nourishment and renewal. The  experience was guided by HYC teachers Freya, Emily, Claire, and Lydia who took care of every detail, creating time for guests to slow down, turn inwards, and reconnect with balance, resilience, and renewed vitality.

An energising morning of yoga flow and empowering Kundalini and breathwork was followed by a guided nature meditation, taking in the ancient woodland and peaceful loch, immersed in gentle winter sunlight. We then returned to the space for an afternoon of rest and reconnection, melting into restorative yoga and soothing soundbath.

Ginger and tumeric shots on arrival were followed by a nutritious lunch of warming winter dahl, nourishing and hearty salads featuring wild rice, vegan feta and roasted seasonal veg, accompanied by local sourdough and kombucha, and followed by Yogi Tea and rose water bliss balls.

Summer Day Retreat

Boath House, July 27 2025

Taking place in the house and gardens of Boath House, surrounded by peaceful beauty, we curated this experience to nourish and restore, connecting seasonal summer energy with inward reflection and gentle movement.

HYC teacher Robin began the day with an energising flow, leading into Laura's transformative pranayama session. The afternoon, guided by Emily & Freya, was filled with nature meditation and a woodland sauna experience.
