Service Description

Qigong encompasses a wide variety of practices including meditation. In this class, we will learn simple breathing techniques to cleanse and to strengthen the internal organs of the body. Each week, we will focus on meditations relating to the 12 months of the yearly cycle as well as Daoist ‘calm abiding’ quiet sitting. Each class will end with a short sequence of self-massage and stretching to conclude. These practices are time-tested and easy to follow, so that you will be able to practice at home between classes. Suitable for all levels.
